In this section, we detail corrections to the book with the idea that
you will at all times have the most up to date version.
p.47- In the chart, the vertical line on "peak" should go all the way up to the same height as the "Peak To Peak" line. Peak power is half of Peak To Peak power. (Added 12-01-08)
p.61- The serial number in the caption for Eileen is for another amplifier. Although Eileen does not retain a serial number plate, we have been able to determine the number would have been 4040 at the highest, and most likely was even lower, closer to 4001. (Added 12-01-08)
p.68- Ready Steady Go! was on the ITV network. (Added 01-20-09)
p.96- Vox beer is from Brussels. (Added 12-01-08)
p.97- The song "Flowers in the Rain" was the sign-on for the new BBC's New Service (Radio 1) by former pirate DJ Tony Blackburn, not the sign-off on Radio Caroline. The pirate stations actually lasted somewhat past this point as the new regulations starved them out rather than cutting them off sharply. (Added 01-05-09)
p.103- It was actually Keith Richards who used a Solid State amplifier during the filming of The Rolling Stones' Rock and Roll Circus. (Added 01-05-09)
p.163- The correct spelling of the rubberized grillcloth material is "Tygan." (Added 12-01-08)
p.206.
