History For Hire has provided props for Music Videos for the following artists: The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Ringo, Madonna, k.d.lang, Rob Zombie, Black Eyed Peas, Bruce Springsteen, Marilyn Manson, Incubus, OutKast, Green Day, Kid Rock, Snoop Dogg, My Chemical Romance, Weezer, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Rod Stewart, Smashing Pumpkins, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, R.E.M., Brian Setzer, Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Janet Jackson, Melissa Etheridge, Steve Winwood, Fall Out Boy, Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Rascal Flats and Elvis Costello. The company has also done props for a number of album covers, as well as four Rolling Stone magazine covers.
With a showroom of over one hundred thousand props, including hundreds of amplifiers, guitars, drums, keyboards and microphones, Jim chose as his personal collection U.K. Vox amplifiers from the JMI-era. Over the years, he has amassed the largest and most complete collection of this rare equipment, which is displayed in The Vox Museum. Collecting Vox amplifiers and maintaining them continues to be a labor of love for Jim.
