Saturday started with the Tone Wizards Panel, and I am proud to say I was able to join the panel for the first time. After a question about mods to Brian May's A.C.30's (Yes, they were modded — read all about it in the Groups sections of the book), the talk went right to a fascinating discussion of tubes that included how they were made, how they differed, the current state of the art, and how old tubes and new ones compared. An hour later, we had to stop. The whole discussion was videotaped by Premier Guitar Magazine.
